Entertaining New Venue For The Cabin
Last updated: 12.16pm, Tuesday 3rd April 2018
Home technology specialists, Lairds of Troon, have helped to create a new entertainment room for customers visiting The Cabin.
Featuring the latest in home technology, the room has been completely kitted out to provide a sensory entertainment experience. A specialist lighting system has been fitted to create mood lighting around the room which can be controlled to create different colours whilst glowing rockets and stars appear on the roof.
A state of the art wireless projector and screen has been installed to showcase the latest blue ray films and a play station provides gaming options, as well as Apple TV. The screen can be adjusted to help customers with eyesight problems and the volume can be controlled to help customers with autism.
The interior design is equally as futuristic with blue fur textured walls and a bubble tube installation complete with fake floating fish. The spectacular design has been extended outdoors with specialist solar lighting in the garden accessed from the room and speakers installed in the outdoor gazebo and patio where customers can enjoy music in the better weather.
Mark and Jo Laird, owners of Lairds undertook all the installation work and received additional donations from kind-hearted local suppliers including Ross Nimmo of Charisma Blinds, John Barrie Lighting and joiner David Innes.
Hansel’s Respite Cabin provides a safe home-from-home residential service for up to seven people enjoying week long breaks with tailored activities arranged to suit guests.
