Sun Shines for Strawberry Tea at Hansel

It was a glorious day at Hansel on Saturday 18th May where over 65 people gathered to enjoy our annual Strawberry Tea.

Everyone had a lovely lunch at Lindys before being treated to a demonstration on planting a hanging basket. Our Lindys team and Grounds Maintenance team worked closely together to ensure everything on the day ran smoothly. A raffle was held along with a quiz and guests were kept entertained learning about how to encourage nature into their garden.

Lindy's tearoom and the Grounds Maintenance team are part of the Hansel social enterprise business, Hansel 3e, which seeks to develop opportunities for people who want to work through a number of routes including Employability and volunteering programmes, supported businesses, and Education and Enterprise programmes.
