About Red Rose House
Red Rose House is a warm and welcoming respite service with eight guest rooms, offering short breaks to individuals across North Ayrshire. Our guests enjoy a wide range of activities—from adapted go-karting and nature walks to relaxing game nights and cinema trips. Every visit is tailored to their interests, choices, and aspirations.
What You’ll Do
As part of our dedicated team, you’ll:
· Support guests with their health and personal care needs
· Help create memorable experiences during their stay
· Promote independence, inclusion, and personal choice
· Work collaboratively to ensure each guest feels valued and empowered
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking enthusiastic, compassionate individuals who:
· Communicate effectively (verbal & written)
· Have basic IT skills and a problem-solving mindset
· Are team players with a passion for social care
· Embrace diversity and treat everyone with respect
· Are flexible to work a rota including 8am–9pm day shifts and 9pm–8am night shifts
· Must be 18+ (insurance requirement)
Desirable (but not essential) Skills
· Full driving license
· Experience supporting people with additional or complex needs
· Knowledge of social care legislation and best practices
· Familiarity with support plans and risk assessments
· Relevant social care qualifications
