Salary: £22,533 - £23,127 per annum
Requirements: Driving License required
Hours: 35 hours per week
Location: Primarily within Broadmeadows Estate, Symington, KA1 5PU

Our dedicated Maintenance and Facilities Team provide a responsive and professional service across our site at Broadmeadows, Symington and in our services throughout Ayrshire.  We currently have an opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant to join our team on a Full Time Permanent basis.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a range of maintenance and repair work including joinery, plumbing and general building works, ensuring that all work is carried out safely, efficiently and with minimal disruption to our customers and team members.

Normal working hours for the post are 8.30am to 4pm.

The successful applicant will have;

• An SVQ Level 2 in a relevant discipline such as Joinery, Plumbing, Building or an equivalent qualification
• Preferably a qualification in Portable Appliance Testing
• Previous direct experience of providing a maintenance and repair service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Excellent problem solving skills.
• Respect for diversity.
