Ayrshire Coastal Path Walk
The Ayrshire Coastal Path from Glenapp to Skelmorlie runs 100 miles along one of the finest panoramic coastlines in the British Isles. Crowned with a superb backdrop of the ever-changing profile of the mountains of Arran across the Firth of Clyde, this coastline is steeped in history and teeming with wildlife.
The walk taking place on Sunday 12th September will take in a small portion of the Ayrshire Coastal Path from Dunure to Troon, with walkers finishing at Ayr if they wish. A complimentary bus, sponsored by Dodds of Troon, will leave Troon from the car park at South Beach, next to the Walker Hall to transport all walkers to Dunure where they will walk along the coastal path to Ayr (8.9 miles) and continue to Troon (7.8 miles).
Registration costs £10 and includes T-shirt, Goodie Bag & Medal, please note that each walker must raise a minimum of £40 in sponsorship.
Participants must register prior to the event as no entries will be accepted on the day.
