Your donation, large or small, will be put to good use in our development programme.
Our current focus is on Our Space – an ambitious project to create a unique community resource at our Broadmeadows site – but if you have a particular area of interest then we would be happy to channel your donation accordingly.
You can make a one-off donation, either by cheque (made payable to Hansel Foundation) or in person (please don’t send cash through the post). If you want to donate anonymously we will respect your wishes but we’d love the opportunity to thank you and keep you up to date on what your donation has achieved.
£5 could be used to buy easy-grip, non-roll paint brushes for people with limited motor control
£25 could buy seeds for the sensory garden
£100 could provide a raised bed for wheelchair accessible gardening
£250 could pave 20 square metres around the garden
£500 could buy an interactive sound / light panel for a ‘chill-out’ area
Donating through JustGiving is easy and secure.
As well as making one-off or regular monthly donations this way you can set up your own page in support of Hansel. Perhaps you are running a marathon for us or would like donations to Hansel instead of personal gifts to celebrate a big event. It is fun and easy (and completely free) to set up your own JustGiving page. You can write your personal fundraising story, add photos and even video if you want to. Best of all once set up you can invite everyone you know to donate through it.
If you have lost someone close to you, you can make a donation in their memory through our JustGiving ‘In Memory’ page.
You can also create a personalised page to share memories with family and friends and give them the opportunity to commemorate your loved one with a gift to Hansel.
If you are a UK taxpayer Gift Aid increases the value of your donation by 25% as we can reclaim the basic rate tax you have already paid. So a £10 donation is worth £12.50 – the £10 from you and the £2.50 you had already paid to HMRC.
We need you to complete a simple declaration to claim Gift Aid and you can download one here, or call us on 01563 831428 and we’ll post one out to you.
